Our approach

We publish information about natural supplements, vitamins, and lifestyle products for men. Our readers rely on this information to make personal wellness decisions — so the content needs to be accurate, clearly sourced, and honest about what we know and what we do not know.

This page documents how we work: where our information comes from, how we describe ingredients, how we handle product labels, and what we do not claim. If you are deciding whether to trust what you read here, this is the page that tells you how we built it.

How we research

Where the information comes from

We start with publicly available information. This includes ingredient databases maintained by food and nutrition agencies, published food composition tables, and manufacturer product labels. We cross-reference ingredients across multiple sources when possible.

If a product label says it contains maca root powder, we verify what maca root is and where it comes from. We do not rely on marketing copy from brands as a primary source. We use it to understand what a product claims to contain, then we describe the ingredients independently.

When we write about popular products for men — including natural capsules for strength and vitality — we look at the label, the ingredient list, and any publicly available composition data before we write a word. Our goal is to give you enough information to make your own comparison, not to make the comparison for you.

Public databases

We use food and nutrition agency databases and published composition tables as primary references for ingredient information.

Product labels

We read what the label says, note specific amounts when listed, and flag when a blend or complex does not disclose individual quantities.

Cross-referencing

When a label names an ingredient, we check what that ingredient is and where it comes from before describing it. Marketing copy is a starting point, never the final word.

What we do not claim

We do not promise outcomes

We do not claim that any supplement, vitamin, or lifestyle product will cure, treat, or prevent any condition. We do not use language like "scientifically proven" unless we are referencing a specific, named, publicly available study — and even then we describe the study rather than endorsing its conclusions.

We do not publish testimonials, before-and-after photos, or transformation stories. We do not claim that natural means safe. Many natural substances interact with other products or have effects at high doses. We note this where relevant.

Ingredient descriptions

We name things specifically

When we describe an ingredient, we name it specifically. We use the plant or compound name, not a marketing term. We say "Panax ginseng root extract" rather than "Asian vitality herb." We say "magnesium citrate" rather than "premium mineral complex."

Source

We describe where the plant grows, what part is used, and how it is processed. A root extract from high-altitude Andean maca is a different ingredient than a leaf powder from a lowland commercial crop, and we say so when the information is available.

Format

We describe the format: capsule, powder, liquid, tea. The format affects how an ingredient is used and how the body absorbs it. Two products with the same ingredient in different formats are not the same product, and our descriptions reflect that.

Traditional use

We describe traditional use where it exists, and we label it as traditional use — not as established fact. A history of cultural use is worth knowing about, but it is not the same as a controlled study, and we keep the two clearly separate.

Product labels

We describe what is on the label

We read product labels and describe what they say. We note when a label lists ingredients with specific amounts. We note when a label uses a "blend" or "complex" that does not disclose individual amounts.

We do not rank products. We do not assign ratings. We do not declare one product better than another. We describe what is on the label so you can compare products yourself.

If a label is vague, we say so. If a label is clear, we note that too. When we cover men's vitamin supplements or energy and endurance supplements, the label is our starting point — and we tell you when the label does not give you enough to make a confident comparison.

Updates and corrections

Content is reviewed periodically

Ingredient information changes. New products enter the market. Label formats get updated. When we find outdated or incorrect information on our site, we revise it.

If a reader contacts us about an error, we review the claim, check our sources, and update the page if needed. We do not silently delete content. If a page is significantly revised, the update is reflected in the content itself.

What we do not accept

No paid placements or sponsored reviews

We do not accept paid placements. We do not accept sponsored product reviews. We do not accept payment from brands to include their products in our content.

If that policy changes, we will update this page and disclose any commercial relationships clearly. Currently, Pria Alam is an informational site with no direct commercial relationships with supplement manufacturers or retailers.

Who writes the content

A small team in Bali

Content is written by the Pria Alam editorial team. We are based in Bali, Indonesia. We are not doctors, dietitians, or pharmacists. We are writers and researchers who organize publicly available information about men's wellness products.

When a topic requires expertise we do not have, we say so and point to the type of professional who could help. We do not pretend to be something we are not. If you are making a personal wellness decision that depends on individual circumstances, talk to a qualified professional who knows your situation.
